THE CHAINSMOKERS’-THE REMARKABLE DUO IN MUSIC PRODUCTION

The Chainsmokers are two members. The two of them are American DJs and production specialists. The two of them are currently Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart. They formerly had a colleague called DJ Rhett Bixler.

The time was back when they were EDM DJs who were managed by Adam Alpart in New York City. Alex Pall went to New York University while Andrew Taggart went to Syracuse University.

Taggart was interning at Interscope Records afterward presenting some of the songs he made to SoundCloud. The two met when Taggart heard Bixler left and he decided to let go of Maine and join Alex in New York City.

They started their career journey when they met an Indian actress Priyanka Chopra where they released a song called Erase; in 2012. Their first remarkable live performance was in 2014 in Timeflies at Terminal 5. The Dim Mak Records captured the attention of the Chainsmokers’ single called Selfie releasing it in January 2014.

The Dance/Electronic song industry show was common and featured the duo charts. Later on, they joined a Sony Music Entertainment label called the Disruptor Records. In 2015, they released two singles called ‘Good Intentions’ and ‘Roses.’ They met a Dutch DJ called Tiesto where they released ‘Split (Only You) in the Banquet debut in October.

In 2016 they later released ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ featuring the amazing vocalist Daya. They later featured in many events like Ultra Music Festival,2016 MTV VMAs.The same year they released ‘Closer’ featuring Halsey.

In 2017 they now featured the release of their album ‘Memories Do Not Open’. They had a ‘Memories…Do Not Open Tour that had 40 North American Cities.

While these events were going on, they had an official video of their song ‘Paris’ (directed by Mister Whitmore and starring American fashion model Martha Hunt; this was after they saw the piano cover of Tony Ann (a fan of Chainsmokers).

In 2018, they released quite some songs in the featuring album; Sick Boy, You Owe Me, Everybody Hates Me.

The Chainsmokers attended the 60th Annual Grammy Awards at Madison Square Garden. Here it mainly featured their latest soundtrack ‘Somebody.’ The release was said to be consisting of synths to the piano to Ableton. It had great vocal samples and quite a lot of modular synth work. The song featured Drew Love completing their first third upcoming album.
